I missed focus on this, but it is a snowshoe hare, and I have never been this close to one. I'm kinda bummed I didn't get a better pic. His big back feet were still white.
There were about 2 million chipmunks in and around the park.
And about 100k red squirrels. I think this is the best critter pic from the trip.

We Are Back
But, where have we been.
We took this train....

to the Agawa canyon,

about 100 miles north of Sault Ste Marie, Ontario.
Once in the canyon we stayed in a caboose,

which was parked on a siding,

We stayed in the canyon for five days, and we really enjoyed it.
The train stops once per day for about an hour and a half, and lets some tourists wander around. The rest of the time there were only a few other people in the canyon.
The caboose has a generator and running water. It was nice to be that isolated, but still be able to take a shower, and have a refrigerator.
